About Us
Our Story.....
Nomadic Movement has been operating since 2013. The idea first originated in Fort Collins, Colorado and was transpired from the love of outdoors, action sports, music and travel.
Mark (Nomad) a nick name his father gave him at a young age) the owner, grew up skateboarding, surfing & snowboarding. He always dreamed of having his own skate/surf clothing brand as a child. At 14, some of his friends brought him to a Grateful Dead show; little did he know this night would spiral into a lifestyle & change his life forever. At the age of 23, he moved to Colorado, he had a job moving furniture & lived in a small one bedroom apartment with his dog Gonzo.
With his new life in Colorado he was surround by artist, musicians, skateboarders, snowboarders & outdoor enthusiasts. With a drive to do more in his life, he got involved with the Colorado music scene, by volunteering at festivals, concerts & street teaming.
Mark saw a window of opportunity in the music industry, so he taught himself graphic design, photography & fashion design. Through these skills and a drive from a childhood dream, he created and produced his own items with his own artistic spin on them. It all started with a few t-shirts, a hoodie, a hat, and a pair of sunglasses & this created Nomadic Movement.
In 2013, Nomad started to sell his apparel line in the parking lot of Red Rocks Amphitheater, and vended his first music festival Sonic Bloom. A couple years later, he met the love of his life, and now business partner Erin. She gave him the organization, help and support to turn Nomadic Movement into what it is today.
Nomadic Movement a festival fashion/streetwear company, also thrives in the outdoors, action sports, counter culture and music industries. Athletes in the Snow, Skate, and Surf cultures rep the brand throughout the nation. For years, Nomadic went on tour with groups of friends during the summers slanging gear at music festivals and raves. ln 2019, Mark and Erin gave up their full time residency in Colorado to travel full time in their RV. They were full time in the RV for over two years before they bought a little beach in Sebastian, Fl. Here is where the Nomadic head quarters lives for now.......
So the next time you see them out at the next festival or show stop and say Hi!
